The Tanooki’s Daily Recap - June 10, 2008

This isn’t the other rare sighting I wasn’t referring to in Pete’s post. In fact, that’s my own Game Boy - I dug it out after Pete posted the story earlier. I stuck in a game and some fresh bats to see if it still worked and, sure enough, it did! Unfortunately, some of the columns of pixels were randomly not working. I could tell they weren’t completely dead, so I turned the thing over and decided to give it a little tap. The plastic screen cover fell off! :(

The bricks aren’t actually rare, it’s just that all the ones left are probably sitting in closets or attic boxes. How many of you still have yours, or at least know where it is at this very moment?

I don’t have mine anymore, I think I traded it in to get my Gameboy Pocket, which I traded in to get my Gameboy Color, which I probably traded in towards a Gameboy Advance. :P

Hey, I was young…didn’t have much money.
