New screenshots from the official Mario Super Sluggers site reveal some additional characters in Mario’s latest baseball outing. I’m counting 27 so far: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Birdo, Toad, Toadette, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Delfinoans, Goomba, Paragoomba, Koopa Troopa, Parakoopa, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Shy Guy, Boo, Petey Piranha, and Miis. Other sites are reporting that they’ve also spotted Dixie Kong and Magikoopa as well.
You can check out some screens of special batting moves after the break, including Mario’s “Fire Shot,” Luigi’s “Tornado Shot,” Peach’s “Heart Shot,” Bowser’s “Blaze Shot,” and pitches such as Yoshi’s “Rainbow Ball,” DK’s “Barrel Ball,” Bowser Jr.’s “Graffiti Ball,” and Waluigi’s “Usoshiki Ball.” Phew.
