arlette_resendiz‘s Samus costume may not be as proportionally accurate as Jenni Källberg’s Varia Suit, but it’s pretty good and pretty shiny, and that’s what’s important. She wore the costume for the Anime Central 2008 convention (which is coincidentally held in our own backyard – in Rosemont, IL), modeling it after the heroine’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl appearance.
I’m convinced that any Samus cosplay with some effort put into it will look amazing. Too bad I could never put one on without being called out for cross dressing.
