Rare Game Boy sighting

oldgameboy.jpg

Joe Fourman, while riding on a bus, snapped a photo of this elusive ancient beauty. Without using a single Max Repel, or even touching his Poke Radar, he stumbled upon something better than any shiny Pokemon could hope to be. Best of all, all it took was some passive observation, a good dose of creepy stalking, and a digital camera. In case you didn’t notice, I imagine the player has a copy of Red or Blue popped into the top of that beast. Probably just wishful thinking.

The front plastic thing over the screen is missing, though.

I have, like, five of these laying around my house. :P I remember when having one of them was a big deal.

I’ve got a better sighting that I’ll probably get around to posting eventually. :P

Damn, I’ve always wanted an original GameBoy so bad. My first handheld was a GameBoy Color the exact day it came out. I’m actually playing it right now ;)

Good ol’ Pokemon. Never gets old.

Hahaha that old thing is rarer these days than an Articuno.

what’s so rare about it, I see these things at flea markets for like 20$?

Really? I want one. I could play Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters, or superluigi could play his Metroid II on it.

i meant it’s rare to see them out there in use now a days, not rare to find them…

Rare for me. The garage sales in my neighborhood don’t have any video games. I would love to find a Gameboy, or SNES…
