Even though Indiana Jones might be the only hero that uses a whip to battle baddies on the Wii, there is an indication that this could change in the future. A future Castlevania manga preview has stated that it will be:

Cross-promoted with the 2008 video game releases, which include games for the Nintendo Wii and DS (Fall 2008).

What will boggle our minds until this is confirmed or denied by Konami, is if this will be a traditional 2-D or new 3-D Castlevania game. Another thing, will this make use of the Wii’s motion sensing controls? If so, just thinking of fighting all those regenerating red skeletons is making my forearm muscles ache. I wonder if there is a possibility for Wii/DS connectivity.
