…In Japan at least. Nintendo covertly revealed a new Wario Land title in their release schedule called Wario Land Shake. At first all that was known was players in Japan would be able to pick it up on July 24th, but now some more information has trickled down the pipes.
The game is a side scrolling platformer, and will be controlled with the Wii Remote held sideways like a NES controller. Some waggle will be implemented for special moves, and tilt functions take over the reins when it comes to vehicles. Sounds like a promising little adventure, with 20 levels covering all sorts of environments.
Wait, 20 levels? Are they huge? Because that isn’t very much platforming in the Mario sense. Maybe it’s designed to be a WiiWare game (which would be perfect in my book), but then why does it get a definitive launch date? …Sometimes I hate Nintendo.
