NPD Group: April sales and figures

There’s no need to tell you that the Wii and DS dominated the United States sales charts yet again, though it’s notable that the Wii surpassed the 700,000 units sold mark for the second straight month in the U.S. The DS Lite sold through over a bajillion (or 400,000) units as well.

On the software side, Mario Kart Wii came in second place for the month with 1.12 million copies sold in April which, as far Mario Kart was concerned, was a 4-day month. You can read up on all the top figures after the break.
