Nintendo Power hints at a big surprise in the near future
This months Nintendo Power concluded with that picture of a fiery moon. Below the scan, it says: “As we head into summer, expect things to heat up in the pages of Nintendo Power. July’s issue will include big updates on Ghostbusters, Sonic Chronicles, and Time Hollow. We may even have a surprise or two. Can you find the clues we’ve hidden in the moon? See you in 30!”
Well, get to guessing, Tanooki readers. A new Harvest Moon title would be too easy a guess. Anyone have one of those paper 3D glasses laying around?

Disgaea: Prince of the Demon World and the Red Moon
Pikmin 3! With the large crater an the left… and the slight darkening around it there seems to be a flower. And on the right, just below the horizontal midline it looks like a top down view of a bulb! Couldn’t find a good leaf… but there might be one in there. Maybe?
I don’t know exactly how you came to that conclusion Roto13, but I would treasure my Wii 10x more than I do now if Disgaea were released on it.
Pikmin 3 would be awesome. I’ll have to wait until I get my issue to take a better look at it. Possibly some kind of American reboot of the Earthbound/Mother franchise?
Let’s hope we will get a Mother game for Wii. Not only that, but Kid Icarus as well.
It looks like an orange.
Notice the hole on the left side, the lines coming out of it appear to make it look a lot like an orange.
But now the question is, what does an orange have to do with anything?!
Maybe a Pokeball? Although, I do see a possible face on the lower half just above the little white spot.
Now I’m definitely seeing a Pokeball!!

that is definitely earthbound right there…….that was too easy…and the pikmin thing is pretty far fetched….I can see it being harvest moon too…..is there a couple games to come out of this picture or just one major announcement
I see a definite pokeball there…the top is even darker, in general, than the bottom. An actual 3D pokemon adventure game for the Wii would be pretty sweet, you could possibly even upload pokemon straight from the DS versions of the games!
It could be Earthbound, it could be Pokemon, it could be a lot of things.
It’s going to be hilarious to watch all of you Earthbound hopefuls weep a month from now.
could it be a new starfox game, if i squint it could be Corneria.
I was skeptical that it would be a Pokeball, but if you look closely, you’ll see the dot everyone’s talking about and a line across that could be the capsules rim.
