Earthbound tops wanted VC titles
Nintendo recently ran a poll in Nintendo Power asking readers to name their most wanted Virtual Console games. Not so surprisingly, Earthbound landed on the top of the list. More impressively, the Japan-only release of Mother hit number four. With so much love, will Nintendo finally crack under the pressure and release these classics? Probably not. But everyone can dream. Full list after the break.

- Super Mario RPG (Super NES)
- Chrono Trigger (Super NES)
- Mother (NES/Japan only)
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (N64)

The reason we’re not getting Mario RPG or Chrono Trigger is Squenix. Why sell a version of $8 when you can “remake” it with a bestiary and sound test mode and sell it for five times that amount?
I would definitely buy the top 4 for sure. I already own the Collector’s Edition for GCN.
Yeah, Earthbound fans have kind of gone off the deep end.
