Head tracking feature scratched from Boom Blox

EA Makes Johnny Lee Cry

In a move that seems absolutely ridiculous, EA has removed the one feature that took Boom Blox to a completely new level in the gaming industry. One possible reason is the professionalism factor, we know that the head tracking feature would have been an easter egg in the game and not a fully supported feature, so it was up to the player to create his own head tracking goggles. With that in mind, it may not have gone over very well with the big wigs at EA.

Head tracking seems destined to take the video game world by storm, but someone needs to take the first step and show everyone else how it’s done. Looks like Boom Blox won’t be that game.
