Animal Crossing possibly in December?

In the 2008 Japanese Club Nintendo calendar, the month of December is pleasantly adorned with Animal Crossing artwork. Big deal right? Just note that the April page is Mario Kart themed. There’s no way to know whether it’s just a coincidence or something more substantial, but with Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii both releasing early in the year, it makes sense that Nintendo has at least one or two big releases up its sleeve for the holiday season.
