The DS continued to fall behind this past week in Japanese hardware sales. The Wii held on to third place overall but way ahead of its primary “competitors.” Actually, it’s a nearly perfect replica of last week’s hardware sales chart. As for software, games for Sony platforms ruled the Top 5, but games for DS and Wii still ruled the Top 50. As expected, Galaxy is not on that list. Again.
- PSP: 120,964 (-9,022)
- DSL: 55,190 (-3,726)
- Wii: 44,618 (-4,167)
- PS3: 11,303 (+97)
- PS2: 10,423 (+127)
- X360: 1,452 (-95)
Full software sales rankings can be found after the break. Oh, and the picture above (from Ling Ling Ang‘s Flickr) has absolutely nothing to do with Japanese sales. It’s just some normal people playing their DS Lites. Normal.
