Get Mario Kart Wii on the cheap…sort of

Mario Kart Wii GameStop Deal

Available now is a “deal” that GameStop is offering: Trade in two Wii titles (listed after the jump) and get Mario Kart Wii for $10. Now I say sort of because if you add up the retail price of the two games you trade in it’s either close to or over the $100 mark, and you still have to dish out 10 bones for the game. I suppose it’s better than any of the games collecting dust, though. Hit the jump for the list of games to trade in if you wish to partake in this “sale.”

One of the first things i noticed was Okami being on the list also! And Bully had only been out for a month… Ok, now on a related but also completely unrelated note… When I follow your Pre-order link for Okami, there is a pretty blatant typo right at the beginning of the Product Description. The first sentences reads “In kami, the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned the world into a veritable wasteland.” I am assuming that is is meant to be read, “In Okami, and not, In kami” Sorry for the randomness and the wall of text.. but this topic seemed as good as any other to point that out…

I’ve ended up trading in the following to make sure I can get my copy on Friday.

    Ninjabread Man (Wii)
    Spiderman 3 (Wii)
    Tamagotchi Party On (Wii)
    Battlestations Midway (360)

The best part is, I got these when the store I was working at was closing down and things we’re Buy One Get One Free and prices slashed. I got way more trade in than I spent on the games.
I’ve also got my credit on a Limited Edition Mario Kart themed Gift Card at Game.
