no the game gear didn’t take megadrive/genesis carts but it did take mastersystem carts.

Nomad was a little more unsymmetrical than the Game Gear and didn’t have as rounded corners. I still wanted the Nomad…

My Game Gear still works, of course, but I don’t know where the battery covers are…
