September 16, 2005. Do you remember what happened on that day? That’s the day when we first envisioned it. That’s the day Satoru Iwata unveiled the Revolution controller, and that’s the day we wanted a new Star Wars game. Three years to the date, we’re getting it.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Wii, DS, and just about every other platform we really care about will hit retail shelves here in North America on September 16, 2008. The rest of the world won’t have to wait long either, as the game arrives in Asia and Australia on September 17, and in Europe on September 19. May the Force be with us all.
