With all the negative hype that gaming has received recently from the media and radical groups, it’s nice to know that others are finding constructive ways of using our console technology. The U.S. Military has created a Wii Remote controlled robot that can disarm mines and other explosive devices. The U.S. Department of Energy Scientists has stated:
Now imagine using a ‘Wiimote control’ to defuse an unexploded bomb. Wiimotes are more instinctive, allowing users to focus on data processing.
Wii Remote applications are endless! Once somebody creates an application that uses the Wii Remote to deep fry some taquitos, the world will finally be complete.
