Grab your stone hammer: 1st Wave of Sega Master System games listed for Virtual Console

Sega Master System fans rejoice! The first two games that will be available on the Wii’s Virtual console from the Sega Master System era will be: Wonder Boy and Fantasy Zone. These titles will also be priced at an affordable 400 points. I hope that Sega eventually decides to re-release the Snail Maze that all of us remember from the early Sega days.

And I’m the first one to comment! Yay! I wonder if anyone remember these games….I might buy one……
…or both……
@helper187
I do remember these games. I will wait for Wonder Boy 2 and 3, that I liked much more than the first episode.
Hey, something happened! My Wii was in standbuy mode at the time these games were released, so I wasn’t able to get them! Don’t I get them eventually? What is going on???
Uh, somebody help! I meant to say that my Wii WASN’T in standby mode when these games were released, so are they gone for good? I thought Christian said they were 400 Wii points, instead of 500……
…hello?
I’m not sure what you’re trying to ask.. If the download didn’t work, and you lost Wii Points, you can contact Nintendo and see if you can get it sorted out. Otherwise, I’d say just try to re-download them.
No, Ryan said they were 400 (above), and I said 500 (according to the press release). Though I don’t think either of us have actually checked the service…so I don’t know which price is right.
The games aren’t sent to you via WiiConnect24. You need to actually go to the Wii Shop Channel, find them (they’ll be there), pay for them, and download them.
