Oh please, there was more than enough hype for Brawl. Probably way too much in my opinion.

And now I get to listen to everybody gush about it for months to come.

I guess I wasn’t really clear on that, I’m absolutely loving Brawl. It’s amazing and its going to get a lot of love from me for years to come.

I’m just saying that in the weeks and months leading up to it, the hype wasn’t nearly as huge as it could have been had it not been delayed multiple times. I wasn’t really excited until about a week before it was released. Now that I’ve had a chance to play around with it for a while, I think it would have been nice to have been able to go crazy for a good month before it came out. It’s just like Spore, it should be coming out this year, but most of us don’t have any excitement left for it.

Also, at Michael:
I’m still playing Smash Brothers 1-2 hours a day. It hasn’t lost it’s luster, and the hype was worth it, for me. There are so many options and unlockables.

Sadly, I have yet to play with Peach. I was forced to play as her once in the Subspace Emissary, but that’s it.

Man, It feels like it’s been a long time since we’ve been anticipating something big.. I know Brawl just came out a couple of weeks ago, but it was delayed so many times it lost a lot of its hype. I really want something to be excited about again.. Either a new Kid Icarus, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Zelda, or Metroid would be nice. Maybe another Earthbound/Mother game? I honestly wouldn’t care. I just want to be excited about gaming again.

Anyone else thinking the same thing? Or have I missed something? (Mario Kart should be fun, but it isn’t something to get hugely excited about..)

Peach has got my vote for cutest spitfire. Her side-B attack that goes “sproing!” and gives off hearts when it hits may be my favorite move in brawl.
