Turn your DS Lite into a $130 notepad!

Kids these days have it great. They’ve got those new markers where they can draw on walls, and parents can easily wipe it off. They can use special fingerpainting paint on special paper – and if any of it gets on the carpet, you can’t see it. Sure, some parents think it’s better to teach them to be careful, but others think that kids should be allowed to be kids.

You give a kid a stylus to write on his DS screen, he or she is going to want to write everywhere. Instructables has a nifty little mod that helps you turn your DS’s outer surface into a notepad for a pencil. That’s right: if you can’t figure out how to cover your handheld system in Scotch Magic Tape, they’ve got step-by-step instructions and pictures to walk you through it. Ingenious. What will they think of next?

That picture reminds me, how come we haven’t gotten a “Hangman” game for the DS?

  • Nintendude

we kinda have…in Clubhouse Games…the one where balloons face death instead of a poor, helpless, stickman :D

Hangman for DS? Would you pay $35 for a Hangman DS game? lol

  • Ryan

Well there are plenty of games that aren’t 35 bucks, a lot of them are $20. An perhaps the devs can create some unique modes.
