Nintendo has finally done it! Nintendo’s current-gen console has surpassed it’s previous-gen console for the first time ever. The Wii continues to surprise us, and remember it’s still moving up the sales ladder.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System – 49 Million
Nintendo 64 – 32.92 Million
Wii – 21.7 Million
GameCube – 21.6 Million
Does the Wii have what it takes to de-throne one of the worlds most beloved consoles, the NES? Only time will tell.
