Japan gets star chart software for the DS

Star charts on the Nintendo DS seem like a great idea, right? Japanese magazine Hoshi Navi thinks so, and they’ll be releasing their own stargazing software for the handheld this summer. Set to be shown off in playable form this coming week at the Photo Imaging Expo, the software’s game card will come with a built-in tilt sensor to make tracking objects easier – eliminating the need for laptop-based tracking software in the field.

Now, if only someone made this for North America. Like Imaginova. Ahem.
