Manhunt 2 cleared for release in the UK
It’s finally happening. For real this time. No more appeals or bans. Manhunt 2 will be released in the UK.
While the BBFC took the Video Appeals Committee’s ruling to release the game to high court and won a review of the VAC’s decision, the VAC has made its stance clear by upholding its initial decision. The BBFC, under legal advice following the decision, is ceding the fight and will issue the game a 18 certificate for release.
Now, those of you in the UK will soon be able to purchase one of the most disappointingly-censored games of 2007. Or you can just focus on saving for Mario Kart, if you’re more of a “2008″ person.
