Famitsu says: Resident Evil 0 for Wii
While many of us Wii owners have been quite discontent with the sheer amount of ports hitting the Wii these days, Capcom is jumping on the bandwagon as well. According to a Famitsu, Resident Evil 0 is being ported to the Wii using the exact same GameCube engine.
The Wii controls worked amazingly well for the over-the-shoulder aiming in Resident Evil 4, but I don’t know how this is going to work with the old static environments and robotic controls of previous Resident Evil titles. Let’s hope that Capcom eventually quenches our Resident Evil thirst with a completely original title in the future.

I’m still waiting on a possible Resident Evil 5 release on the Wii. I know it would take a lot of time and energy to do it, but considering the success of RE4, you’d think they would at least consider it.
Yeah, shame on Capcom, I really don’t want to miss out on RE5 because it’s on another console.
More likely than not, I’ll miss out on it, and then by the time I finally invest in another next-gen console, I’ll have forgotten about it. It’s too bad, but that’s the reality of one of the Wii’s shortcomings..
