Valve “Eyes” Wii development
Valve, the developer responsible for the Half-Life franchise has generally created their games on PC, but they have recently expressed their interest on the Wii platform:
If Valve were to develop in-house for another format, it would be the Wii. It’s growing, there’s already a huge user-base, and it’s fun. Source is really scalable. We can do that.
While many people won’t “hold their breath” for Valve to grace us with their presence, it gives all of us hope for another developer to take advantage of the outstanding FPS controls the Wii has to offer.

Some Half-Life action on the Wii? Yes please. I’d love to play with new controls. Here’s hoping Valve will actually support the platform.
I’d prefer Portal on the Wii to Half-Life. :)
That would be fantastic.
Either would be alright with me. I haven’t had the chance to play Portal, so I really can’t say. But Half-Life is one of the premier shooters out there right now.
Yes I would by Portal Wii in an instant! :)
What they’re porting is Source, the engine. Once they do that, Portal, Half-Life, Counterstrike, Red Orchestra, Team Fortress, Day of Defeat and anything else that runs on Source will be a snap to release.
