Europe to get Super Smash Bros. Brawl this autumn

Those darn production problems. While Europe will be getting the anticipated duo of Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii before the games are released in the United States and Canada, it seems there’s a cost attached: Super Smash Bros. Brawl is on target for a fall release at the earliest in Europe (and likely Australia).

I mean, Nintendo could open up more factories just to meet the insane worldwide demand for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but according to Reggie (NOA), it’s not worth it.

  • That's PR speak for "We have a specific let-down date when we'll reveal the release date. Until then, no getting ahead of yourselves." The fact that the game still isn't on Europe's Q2 list is starting to become nerve-racking.

Its ok this isn't true thank god, according to kotaku:

Update: Hey, Europe! Put down your torches and rest your rock throwing arm. Nintendo wants to assure you that no official date has been provided for Super Smash Bros. Brawl in your region, a fact backed up by EGM's Shane Bettenhausen. He writes in his 1UP blog that Reggie gave him no such release date, only that Europe was getting Brawl after us Americans.

I'm sorry Europe. I really am.
