New Mario Kart Wii screens seem…old…

So I’ve gone ahead and added about 70 new screens from Mario Kart Wii after the break. Definitely worth checking out, as they’re all breathtakingly beautiful. You can get a look at some of the new karts, bikes, and other vehicles, as well as racers such as Koopa Troopas and Baby Peach. Oh, and in addition to all the new tracks, MKW‘s remakes of several old tracks will bring back a flood of old memories.

Enjoy.

Yeah it does look a bit rough at times. I think we can probably expect more when they finish polishing it. Keeping in mind that Mario Kart always runs at a silky smooth 60 frames.

i hope it gets polished, the picture of bowser and donkey kong on banshee boardwalk looks of n64 quality (or i guess ds since the n64 characters werent 3 dimensional at all)
im not super picky when it comes to graphics though, mario kart has always been about great multiplayer racing! :)

The loss of double karts means -10 imaginary points in my books. However this is looking closer to a console version of MKDS which is always a good thing. I think I want this more than Brawl actually, probably because Brawl has been put back so much that it has just become some sort of mythical game that doesn’t really exist.

I think this game will be the first one I’ve had that I can see myself playing more online than offline.

Even though it’s easily noted that the new courses have a half-pipe-esque appearance and that we’ll be able to pull off some pretty sweet air moves, I’m wondering if the classic courses will allow players to pull off moves.

those screens looked a bit blocky for my liking but after seeing this my mind was put to rest.
