Now that Nintendo has opened the door for downloadable content on Nintendo DS game packs with Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Disney has decided to follow suit. Starting with the title The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, users will be able to create a DGamer (an avatar) and have an achievement based Honors system.
With all the publicity that customizable characters have received these days, it’s only a matter of time before we will have the technology to place place ourselves inside these 3-D worlds. I’m still looking forward to the day I can place my Chihuahua’s head on Mario’s body and watch in amazement as he grows bigger by eating a mushroom.
