Here is what I planned to do yesterday: Make some dinner, post a new Treasure Ship, write a few posts, and then finish off the night with some Link to the Past. Basically the greatest Saturday night ever, right?
Here is what actually happened: I made some dinner, as planned, but when I tried to jump online, the internet just wouldn’t cooperate. After jumping through a few hoops, the cable company informed me that there might be an outage in the area and that they are working as hard as they can to fix it. A call placed this morning informed me that these outages could last anywhere from 4 hours to 4 days. Ouch.
20 hours and a whole lot of Link to the Past later, we’re finally up and running. It’s weird to think of how internet-dependent some of us become, and once it decides to leave our lives for a few hours, we have no idea what to do with our time. Maybe the internet will go out again, so I can enjoy some time with Super Metroid.
