The Tanooki is still hiring
Thank you to everybody who has submitted applications so far. We are going to sort through everything this weekend and make some decisions early next week. We’ve also received a few emails asking if we received your application. If you sent it to apply@thetanooki.com, then everything is A-OK, trust us.
For those of you still interested in applying, it’s not too late. Just send us your application materials before Sunday and you will still have an equal shot at landing a position at The Tanooki. Good luck to everybody!

Just curious? Are you planning on hiring one more person? Or a couple?

Ideally, we would like to hire three quality writers. Of course, we will hire however many applicants that we feel are ready to join the crew, so it could be more or less.
However, if you are not hired this time, DO NOT FEEL DISCOURAGED! I’ve been having more than my fair share of rejection in the past week with my job/internship search, so I know how it feels, but just keep working on your writing.
And yes, I am getting a bit zealous, but I also wanted to remind people that the application process is coming to a close, so don’t hesitate to send your application.
I feel ya dude, I’ve just interview by two companies……Talk about Pins and Needles…..I swear applying for a job is like going through the dating process hehehe.
