Surprise! Brawl tops the Japanese software sales list
Last week’s sales chart for Japanese titles is out, and at first glance suggests that hell is freezing over. Only two Wii titles and one DS title, compared to six on Sony platforms (including three on PS3) and one for the Xbox 360. In actuality, all the hardcore Nintendo gamers were too busy helping Super Smash Bros. Brawl outsell the rest of the Top 10 while all the casuals continued to buy Wii Fit and Mario & Sonic.
You can check out the Top 50 list after the break. Note that the sales figure for Brawl is only after a total of four days instead of the whole week.

everytime i see another smash bros story i die a little inside, i’ll probly get my hands on Mario Kart before, smash bros ever hits our shores :(
