I was skeptical of those recent Mario Kart Wii rumors from the start. Not that I doubt the game will include 32 tracks or the Excite Truck-like control scheme, I just don’t trust magazines that aren’t giant publications with a whole set of details I’ve never seen before. According to Nintendo, the information is nothing more than rumor.

“Nintendo has not announced any further information on Mario Kart. We’ve spoken to the magazine and it’s just pure rumour and speculation on their part.”

Looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to answer the burning question of whether or not we’ll be able to race as Baby Peach.
