Kirby and Animal Crossing show up on Nintendo’s Japanese release list
Nintendo has released a list of the games they know to be publishing during 2008, and it’s looking pretty good… for Japan. Nintendo’s home country will be getting DS games like Fire Emblem and Eternal Chronicle, and games like Wii Music, Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Animal Crossing, and Kirby on the Wii. What do the rest of us get confirmed for 2008? Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii. Whoop-de-stinkin’-do.
Luckily, the list confirms that Europe will definitely be getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl sometime in 2008. Celebrate! You can view the full lists after the break.

oh wop-di-do we get it sometime in 2008, they may as well say it, we’re getting a Nov/Dec release date that will end up being pushed to jan/feb 2009 :(
I don’t care if the release dates for the western world aren’t set, the fact is that Nintendo has confirmed three games I’ve been wanting since before the Wii launched! A new Kirby game, finally! The Animal Crossing Mumorpuger, and Disaster Day of Crisis isn’t suffering the same fate as Sadness! Those three alone are fantastic news!
I’m sorry, I stopped reading at Animal Crossing Wii.
This game is probably the only game I’ve ever been this excited about having only heard the title. Granted Iwata did suggest a couple of interesting features at E3 2005 or 2006…
Sweet. Is a good word to sum up the awesomeness of a new Animal Crossing.
