Sega’s Master System wasn’t the only system announced as having games in line for the Virtual Console. Sega’s Mark III console, the Japanese predecessor to the Master System, will be joining the ranks.
Arguably the best Sega addition to the Virtual Console today is the Sega Game Gear, Sega’s color and backlit handheld platform. It boasted a much larger library than the Mark III and Master System, enjoying similar releases to the Game Boy, SNES, and Genesis at the time. As soon as Sonic Triple Trouble is re-released, I’ll be a happy camper. Tails Adventure just won’t cut it.
Also, we now have a handheld platform on the Virtual Console. Anyone else out there want games from other popular handhelds? Specifically Nintendo handhelds? Ahem.
