It seems that Nintendo Power is running with the claim that the original Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 will be arriving on the Virtual Console in Japan and North America soon. Now, I don’t follow all the hints out there as to upcoming VC games, but I’m pretty sure I don’t remember hearing about SSB being rated for release on the VC anywhere as of yet.
Of course, Nintendo does seem to like releasing certain classics on the VC to coincide with their brand new Wii installments, so SSB on the VC by March doesn’t seem so far fetched. Will you be buying it for another generation?
