Disney World to use Nintendo DS as park guide? Imagineer that!

080119mickey.jpgIt looks like the Disney World theme parks are looking to use the DS Lite as an interactive guide map for their guests. A trial run of the software may begin in the parks in a few months, allowing park visitors to use the DS touch screen to click on rides to find out waiting times for lines, or click on restaurants to check out menus and prices. Just be careful bringing your DS on Splash Mountain or something like that.

Sounds like an awesome set up – first Safeco Field, and possibly now Disney World. I think I’m going to have to try this out myself. Who’s up for a trip to Disney?

I wish the NHL, and all major sports leagues for that matter, would adopt the same kind of program for their arena's/stadiums. I would love to give this a try.
