Everyone goes after you when you have money. Copper Innovations Group has filed a lawsuit against Nintendo (and Sony) in Pennsylvania over their 1996 patent for a “Hand Held Computer Input Apparatus and Method.” Basically, they’re saying that the Wii Remote and Nunchuk use Copper Innovations’ system of assigning identification numbers to the handheld devices to organize and sort players.

Of course, Copper is hoping that Nintendo will stop selling the Wii should they win.
