Here’s one way of saving space…

So after a long week of going back to high school for some teaching observations, I’ve been packing all evening for when I head back to Chambana tomorrow. Normally, I take all my games with me in their original cases. However, when I came home for the holidays with three shoe boxes of video game crap in tow, it was time for change.

I had a spare Game Gear game case lying around in my room, and decided to see how many DS games I could cram in there without having to force it shut (and possibly damaging the games). Turns out I could fit more games (10) than I had initially brought home with me. Sure beats having to pack all those DS cases.

I’m sure a number of you are heading back to college this week or soon. Do you pack your games in their original cases? Or what do you use?

    I pack my games in original cases, but I haven’t accumulated enough yet for it to be a REAL issue (as in, I don’t have 3 boxes full haha). A few more and I will have a back pack full of DS games however..

    I seem to have more Gameboy game cases than gameboy games so I keep mine in there. You can fit 3 in easily, 4 at a push

    I use one of those slightly-smaller-than-a-wallet-sized GameStop game holders. Holds six games and an extra stylus and still fits in my pocket.

    I try to shove them all in one DS game box…and it goes poorly. Since I’m terrible at opening those gracefully, I snap it open and they all shower onto the floor. Thanks for the idea ;)

    I have 40 games for my DS, and I use a game library folio that holds 12 games. Within that, 6 game cases that each hold 4, and the last 4 are in the small compartment of the storage case for my DS Lite. I have way too much free time on my hands. It’s sad…
