The Treasure Ship returns!

And just when you thought it was lost in the universe forever, it returns for a sophomore voyage!
For Tanooki newcomers, The Treasure Ship is our somewhat popular trivia game that puts even the most cultured gamer to the test. After some heavy debating, we’ve changed a few things about this Treasure Ship:
- It’s a race to five! The first user to answer five challenges correctly will win all the treasure.
- Treasure Ships will go up every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The times of each post will vary to give everybody in different time zones a chance to answer first.
- We have partnered with Mugen Toys to bring you some fantastic (and fun) prizes. More info on those in the next few days
For the newcomers to the Treasure Ship, the rules are simple. A trivia challenge of some sort will be posted. The first user to comment on that post with the correct answer gets a point. The first to five points wins!
Sound simple enough? Good, let’s get started with our first (easy) challenge- Name That Tune!

is it a super mario bros. 2 tune?
O_o.
It’s no doubt from an NES game but 8-bit sound is well, hard to identify.
EARTHBOUND ZERO is my guess
I want to say The Legend of Zelda?
Oh man, I have absolutely no idea. And I spent a bunch of time crawling through my nes roms, too.
I will guess it is from Donky Kong, Jr.!
Errr……uh is it part of Super Mario Bros underwater music?
It’s from Legend of Zelda.
rFalcon is correct (LoZ).
+1 rFalcon. Next time, don’t answer in the form of a question :P
Hah! Cool.
What song is it anyways? It sounds like the main theme but I don’t remember that little chunk.
I’m guessing Legend of Zelda!! Yay~! I win!
Just kidding….good job, rFalcon!
The song is from the ending credits.
I think it’s Balloon Fight. I will definitly buy it on Virtual Console!(I got the Wii for Christmas!)
I’m not sure but I kind of think it is Super Mario Bros. 3.
