Man conquers Geometry Wars

At some point in every game there will be the hardest difficulty, the last boss, or hardest level and after mastering it the game poses no further challenge. The challenge then that developers face is to make sure that the difficulty curve doesn’t spike anywhere. Sometimes it boils down to the decision to make an impossible difficulty level to keep the most hardcore of us occupied, or just level it off at some point. Leveling it off seems the wiser of the two decisions, but it remains nonetheless frustrating for mega-fans of the game.

Rambling aside, it looks like Bill Tangeman has reached that level in the DS version of Geometry Wars.
