If all the announced characters are readily available --- that is, not unlockables --- then Nintendo will announced at least one more. Don’t forget that Zero Suit Samus won’t get her own slot on the character select screen. Thus, we only have 23 slots for announced characters, and it seems odd to start with an odd number. On that subject, I’ll bet we’ll see a profile for Sheik in the not-to-distant future. I’m willing to bet that Olimar will not be the last character we hear about before the game debuts.
