Reggie confirms full DS games downloadable through Wii

The New York Times recently published an article in which they spoke with Nintendo’s president, Reggie Fils-Aime. In it, we get a confirmation that not only will the Everybody’s Nintendo Channel come to all regions outside Japan, DS Demo Downloads and all, but that we’ll also be able to download a little more…

“Mr. Fils-Aime said that future DS device will be more tightly integrated with its Wii console. Complete games as well as game samplers will be able to be downloaded into the Wii using its broadband connection, and then transferred wirelessly to the DS.”

Complete games, eh? Where are we going to store these games, Nintendo? We can’t store our VC games on our Wii anymore, and now you expect us to magically find space for our downloadable DS games as well?

Regardless, I also now demand Fire Emblem: F?in no Tsurugi be translated. Chop, chop.

I still maintain that they're going to go the hard-drive route. Sooner or later they'll see the light.
  • That is a little obnoxious but I'm still happy this is going to happen. =\

Man, they aren't gunna give us any storage device, they are just going to expect us to re-download the game everytime we power off/on the DS.
