What the weekend, What the night is all about, Let’s Brass
I’m always for more music games, so long as they’re not the kinds that should end up in $2 bargain bins at the store. I’ve had friends at school who love the potential for using Electroplankton in conjunction with Garage Band or composition in general, former music teachers and band directors who want to get GameCubes and a few copies of Donkey Konga for their beginning music classes, and yes, even the local music fraternities holding Guitar Hero tournaments.
Now, an all-out music training game is headed to the DS. Called Let’s Brass, the game has a functional metronome, tuner, a searchable music dictionary, teaches music lessons and breathing exercises, and even a local wireless mode that allows you to play and learn with a friend!
Let’s Brass comes out in Japan on February 28th (just before February 29th - we actually have one of those next year!) for an unsurprising ¥3990. You can check out some screens after the break.
