Japanese hardware sales, December 17-23
This is more like it. Numbers are in for Japanese hardware sales last week, and both the Wii and DS saw significant boosts as Japan nears the New Year’s holiday. Unlike the previous week, Nintendo posted a commanding lead by taking both the #1 and #2 slots with a nice, fluffy cushion. Oh, and the DS has now surpassed lifetime PS2 totals in Japan. That’s a good sign the DS is selling well.
