Alvin and the Chipmunks is available for the Wii, and surprisingly it’s got a better soundtrack than most games out there. I love the soundtracks from music games like Guitar Hero III or Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix… but if I’m gonna be having a ton of fun, I want variety. Elite Beat Agents was a good example of variety in a music game for the DS. Does Alvin do the job for the Wii?

Yes and no - in a disappointing way. Obviously the video above can show you what Alvin & Co.’s voices can do to a song. Such a shame, too. You can check out the full track listing after the break, and weep at some great songs that have mostly never been in a Guitar Hero game and yet will be ruined by this game.
