Surprise: Super Sonic is Sonic’s Final Smash
We all knew this was coming…it was in fact confirmed prior to this. Sonic’s Final Smash transforms him into Super Sonic using the Smash Ball and the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Super Sonic can then fly around the stage at immense speeds - the speed of light if you ask any Sonic fanatics. Obviously, something like that is hard to control, but you’ll have to learn how to control the speed well enough to be effective with your hits. You don’t want to be moving so fast that you give your opponents such a large dodging window.
Oh, and of course you transform back to normal after a while. Why? Because you ran out of your 50 rings and didn’t bother to collect any more. So what if there aren’t any rings in the game. You’re Super Sonic.
