11-year-old donates Wii to help donation for the needy
Tyler Strasser of North Carolina hosted a toy drive this past weekend to help the needy. In order to encourage more people to donate, Tyler will be giving up his own Wii console. Anyone that donates gets a raffle ticket, and several winners will be picked to compete in a WiiSports tournament. The winner of that tournament gets to keep the Wii.
“It just makes you really feel good that you’re helping other people, and I know that it is my job from God.”
Aww. The best part is that Tyler’s been doing things like this (donating toys to kids with special needs or to kids with dispatched military parents, and collecting goods for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan) since he was 3-years-old. He’s eleven now.
Just another story to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. You can see Tyler’s own site at tylers-mission.org.
