Smash Bros. site updates with Frigate Orpheon stage
What you see below is the stage in mid-transition. Yup, yet another Metroid-themed stage (this time from Metroid Prime) features an interesting gameplay dynamic. This time, a siren will go off as a warning, and then the entire stage flips. You’d better be ready, jump up at the right time to land on the opposite platform and to safety. This is also a perfect time to take advantage of your enemies, says Mr. Sakurai:
“But when you’re in a pinch, so is your opponent. Stall your opponent to take advantage!”
