It’s impossible to find a Wii in the UK right now, and it’s getting to the point where Nintendo had to take down all Wii ads so not to throw gasoline on their own fire. What are the English doing instead to get their hands on Nintendo’s hot console? They’re crossing over to France is what.
The tabloids are reporting that a noticeable numbers of UKers have been taking trips over to France to get their hands on a Wii for £150 rather than biting the bullet and paying £1,000 on eBay. Perhaps this is why France sold 1 million Wii consoles so quickly?
