New details about Nintendo’s Wii Chess

071215chess.jpgSo Nintendo’s got this game that most of us have either forgotten about or haven’t even heard of. It’s called Wii Chess, and it comes out in Europe on January 18th. Worth your time?

If you enjoy chess, it might be. I’ll be a budget title, selling for about only €30 as a Touch! Generations title. The game will come with some customization features as well, such as different graphical styles for what I’m assuming to be different styles for the chess pieces, board, etc. Best of all, the game will allow you to play chess against friends you might have in the room with you or online over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

I haven’t played a digital chess game since Chessmaster 3000 on my old PC, and it’d be nice to get back into the swing of things. If and when this hits the United States, maybe it’ll end up on your list of games to try out.

well for it to match the likes of Chessmaster 3000, it needs to have those amazing techniques.

Oh that that chessboard image that they have looks like the classic one from the Windows 95 edition of chess...lol.
