Man donates Wii to replace a child’s stolen Christmas gift

071215wiipresent.jpgThis is one of those stories that warms the heart with a happy ending. Ralph and Jennifer Keenan took their grandaughter, Brogan, in when she had lost her parents. They decided to get her the Wii she really wanted for Christmas, so they saved up to find one, wrapped it up, and placed it under the tree. Unfortunately, the house was robbed one night of all the valuable presents placed under the tree, including the Wii, a digital camera, and more.

Local businessman Nick Findlater heard about the story from The Courier and decided to donate his brand new Wii console to the family. He didn’t want Brogan’s Christmas to be ruined, and the young girl’s grandparents are humbled that anyone would be so kind as to do such a thing. Brogan herself said she couldn’t thank Mr. Findlater enough for giving her a Christmas to look forward to:

“It was a really nice thing to do.”
